I have severe lower back pain and I am thinking about getting a teeter hang ups (inversion table)?

Do the Teeter Hang Up tables work as well as they say on TV?

It never really got much better. When I was 18, I had a DO align my spine and it popped like crazy. Felt amazing for awhile, but slowly it started to hurt again. NEEDLESS to say, I need to go to my doctor to have my neck checked out, but that doesn’t explain the muscle pain in my lower back since I was 17. I’m wondering if those tables actually work.
