Canon SD780IS Camera How do HD Videos come out in macro mode? photo

Prisma asked regarding Canon SD780IS:

I am planning on getting a canon sd780is camera specifically for the HD video (can’t afford one of the really expensive HD cameras). For anyone who has this camera or tried it out, how is the macro mode when capturing the HD video? I do youtube product reviews so I want to get in close to the products. is the video quality really good when macroed in close? thanks

    I have to say that I think you’ll be disappointed with the quality of video from any compact camera when taking videos in macro mode (if it will even do it). You’d be far better off getting a camcorder to do this, you’ll be able to get in far closer and the quality will be far better.
