Dish Network HDTV service?

I am in the process of looking for a new HDTV provider because Time Warner, quite frankly, sucks and does not have a good HD channel selection. I wanted to know if anyone is using Dish Network and how has their business experience with them been here in the USA?

I have looked at DirecTV and their 150 HD channel announcement but that is reliant on them successfully launching 2 new HD Satellites and they cannot guarantee me the service nor will they let me out of the contract if they fail to deliver.

Does anyone use Dish Network HDTV and how good is it? Do you have any issues with them? They currently have about 30+ HDTV channels right now. Thanks for your help.

    I have the HD package fron Dish, never had a problem with em guys. Service is good, prices could be lower but nobodys perfect, I would recommend it. I like the ESPN TNT NFL NETWORK RUSH AND RAVE HD channels.

    I’ve had HD for about a year and 1/2 now, and wouldnt trade it for anything. Watching channels that arent HD now make my eyes hurt :-) Ditch cable.

    I’d say clearly DISH cause:

    - cheaper
    - better packages
    - more variety on channels
    - good picture quality

    You might check out – They currently run some free promo or something. They are very professional and can recommend them.

    So far so fine. If you have more specific technical questions just call ‘em up, doesn’t cost anything except a few minutes of your time ;-)
