It is probably a dud. Most of them are anyway. Advertisments just make them ideal to buy, but when you buy the products, you feel like wrangling the neck of the salesperson you bought the product from.

You mean the path lights that you just stick in the ground? The one’s I’ve seen work fine but are flimsy and usually get broken if you’re not careful.

I like the ones I have by Malibu. I don’t know the ones you are talking about on tv.

They are cool.. They do work. They are like night lights. They are kinda fragile, so you have to be careful of like yanking the garden hose on them and such, But I have had mine for ten years and they are still going strong.. You need more than you think..

Depending on where you live, a lot of sunlight is required to give off light from a solar light. Even at that, there is a weird glow and not enough light as the low-voltage lighting. Low-voltage is quite easy to install. Check out Malibu website for more information.

Dud…not enough light and not enough time on the lights.

You are better off with one of the types with a plug in transformer/timer and run the wire along the path to the lights. These are not hard to install.
