5. Memory RAM – GSKILL RipJaws DDR3-1600 PC12800 CL9D – 4GB (2x2GB)
6. HDD – 1xWDC Black Caviar 500GB (for OS & Games), 1xWDC Blue 640GB (Programs/Apps.& Data), 1xWDC Green (HD Movies Only). Total of more than 1.5TB.
7. Soundcard PCI-E – Creative Audigy 2 ZS SB0350 & Creative Active 5.1 Ch Speaker System.
8. Casing CM Gladiator, Vantec Fan Controller w/ card reader, CM Musketeer II, some led lights, some fans, PC IR remote control, 1xSONY DVD Writer.
9. CPU Cooler – Xigmatek COBRA D984 H.D.T w/ Gelid Silent PWM Fan 92mm.
10. Monitor – connected to BENQ 22″ LCD Monitor (Primary) & Panasonic 42″ Plasma HDTV.
11. Input Device – Prolink & A4 Tech Gaming Keyboard, Kensington Wireless SlimBlade Media Mouse & MS Sidewinder X5 Gaming Mouse (all connected, position on a diiferent place each pair input device).
12. Operating System – Windows 7 Enterprise 64bit – RTM.

Are those “okay” for the purpose mentioned? I would appreciate it very much for any comments/opinions/inputs/suggestions…you see, this is my first build rig so i was wondering if there are any pro/expert would advice me on this set-ups. Cheers…

  1. Derek Says:

That computer is more than OK for all those purposes except gaming on maximum settings. The 9600GT is the only piece of hardware holding your computer back, but it’ll run a lot of games at a decent setting.

    It is almost enough…

    Graphic Card 9600GT DDR3 1GB 256mb is a good one…

  3. ttime8887 Says:

a 9600 is terrible. if your going to go with nvidia go with a gtx260 or a 275. and if you want ati go with a 5770.
