    I like the Logitech one. Bose is famous for its “out of the world” price

    Of the two, the Bose will sound the best. They will not sound like the famous (but very expensive) Acoustimass systems, but they will outperform the Logitec. Also, the Bose is not a surround sound system.

    I’ve had Logitec (though not the 5500), and I didn’t like the sound at all. I don’t know if they have improved in the last few years or not, but I’d have to hear that system before I bought it.

    I have a system from JBL called the “creature” that has a great sound at a small price. Unless you’re using your computer as your main source of audio entertainment, or you really need “surround sound” capability, you might want to give a look at these. I got mine at Best Buy, but I’ve seen them at Target and some other stores as well.
